Overview

This standard applies to simple eccentrically mounted, soft-sealing butterfly valves with a continuous butterfly valve stem which are used on watercraft. These valves preferable are used in piping assemblies for seawater, fuel F-75, aviation fuel F-44, lubrication oil, hot water and fresh cooling water with and without additives at temperatures up to 120 °C.
