DIN VDE 0603-2-2:2017-12

This standard appears as Part 2-2 of the DIN VDE 0603 series of standards and shall be used in conjunction with DIN VDE 0603-1. This part of the series of standards describes additional requirements for meter panels for semi-indirect metering up to 1 000 A. These are connected directly or indirectly to the general electricity supply network. These meter panels are described with a measuring and power section. In addition to Part 1, requirements for the arrangement of the functional surfaces, dimensions and wiring are specified. Depending on the rated current, the ranges up to 250 A and up to 1 000 A are defined for the various designs. Since it can be assumed that transformer systems will always be in continuous operation, a rated load factor (RDF) of 1 is specified in this standard. In addition, systems for intermittent operation (normal household load) and a rated current of up to 125 A are defined. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 543.1 "Installationskleinverteiler und Zählerplätze" ("Consumer distribution boards and meter panels") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
