This part of ISO 8784 specifies a method for determining the total number of colony-forming units of bacteria and bacterial spores in dry market pulp, paper, and paperboard after disintegration. The enumeration relates to specific media. This document (ISO 8784-1:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulps", the secretariat of which is held by SCC (Canada). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 074-02-01 AA "Chemisch-technologische Prüfverfahren für Papier, Pappe, Faserstoff und Chemiezellstoff" ("Chemical-technological test methods for paper, board, pulps and chemical pulps") at DIN Standards Committee Paper, board and pulps (NPa). This document is the adoption of the International Standard ISO 8784-1:2014.
