Overview

This document contains the German translation of the International Standard ISO 8691:1994, which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 28 "Petroleum products and lubricants" (secretariat: ANSI, USA). The responsible national Committee is NA 062-06-11 AA "Atomspektrometrie" ("Atomic spectrometry") of the Petroleum, Fuels, Lubricants and Related Products Standardization Committee (FAM) at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP). This International Standard specifies a method for determining the vanadium content in the range of 0,4 mg/kg to 4,0 mg/kg in gas turbine fuels and domestic fuel oils by means of flameless atomic absorption spectrometry.
