DIN ISO 15081:2015-02

This standard establishes graphical symbols for use on drawings and diagrams relating to the installation of pressurized agricultural irrigation systems. It is a collective application standard of the ISO 14617 series of International Standards. With the adoption of this International Standard, the graphic symbols for irrigation plans previously valid in Germany will be replaced by the internationally valid symbols. Thus the symbols will be standardized for users of the standard (for example, planners, but also software manufacturers). By dispensing with letter symbols, irrigation plans can be made more language-neutral. This document is intended as a replacement for DIN 19653:1994-11 and contains the German version of the International Standard ISO 15018:2011 which has been prepared by the Technical Committee ISO/TC 23 "Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry", Subcommittee SC 18 "Irrigation and drainage equipment and systems". The responsible German body is Working Committee NA 119-02-14 AA "Bewässerung und Dränung (ISO/TC 23/SC 18, CEN/TC 334)" ("Irrigation and drainage (ISO/TC 23/SC 18, CEN/TC 334)") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
