The ISO 14490 series of standards specifies test methods for telescopes and magnifying glasses. This part of ISO 14490 specifies the test methods for the determination of the veiling glare index of telescopic systems and observational telescopic instruments. DIN ISO 14490-6 has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-10 AA "Fernrohre und Vergrößerungsgläser" ("Telescopic systems") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
