The DIN ISO 10110 standard series is a comprehensive standard series specifying the presentation of the design and functional requirements for optical elements and systems in technical drawings used for manufacturing and inspection. Starting with the publication of the first parts in the year 2000, it has replaced the German standards of the DIN 3140 series which have been introduced over decades. The two standard series have a similar but in some important points various structure and contents. This Supplement 1 which is now a revised edition supplements the standards of the series DIN ISO 10110 by demonstrating the differences of all parts of DIN ISO 10110 with respect to the parts of DIN 3140 by means of a detailed comparison. Furthermore, Supplement 1 provides an index for DIN ISO 10110. With respect to the previous edition of Supplement 1, the revised editions of the standards DIN ISO 10110-1:2007-08, DIN ISO 10110-5:2008-12, DIN ISO 10110-7:2009-06, DIN ISO 10110-8:2012-02, DIN ISO 10110-10:2004-12 have been taken into account; furthermore, the since then published standards DIN ISO 10110-12:2009-01, DIN ISO 10110-14:2008-12 and DIN ISO 10110-17:2004-12 have been added. Supplement 1 to DIN ISO 10110 has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-02 AA "Grundnormen für die Optik" ("Fundamental standards for optics") at the Optics and Precision Mechanics Standards Committee (NAFuO).
This document replaces DIN ISO 10110 Beiblatt 1:2000-02 .
