DIN ISO 10071-1:2010-11

This standard specifies the dimensions and tolerances for the interchangeability of ball-lock punch retainers for light duty, used in tools for pressing. It standardizes punch retainers in round, square, rectangular and oval forms which are used to press holes in steel plates or other materials which have a thickness of less than 3 mm. Along with dimensions of different size classes of punch retainers with shaft diameters in the range of between 6 mm and 32 mm, the DIN-ISO standard gives information about the hardness of the materials used as well as standard designations of the components. This standard contains the German version of the international standard which has been prepared by ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding", Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing". The responsible German Mirror Committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") at FWS.
