DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021:2011-07

The document corresponds to the translation of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17021 "Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems" which has been prepared in a parallel procedure by ISO/IEC and CEN. The draft preceeding this document has been published with the number E DIN EN 17021-2 under the title "Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems and requirements for third-party certification auditing of management systems - Part 2: Requirements for third party certification auditing of management systems (ISO/IEC DIS 17021-2:2009), German and English version prEN ISO/IEC 17021-2:2009". Therewith, the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021:2006-12 "Conformity assessment - Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems" have been supplemented and additional requirements with regard to the audit process and competence of the management. This project is published not as the second part as originally planned, but as the revised version of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021:2006.
