Overview

This vocabulary standard for hoses defines terms used in the hose industry. It is divided into two subclauses, namely - 2.1: hose terms, and - 2.2: hose assembly terms. The text of ISO 8330:2014 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 8330:2014 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies". The responsible national standards committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Gummi- und Kunststoffschläuche sowie Schlauchleitungen (Spiegelgremium zu CEN/TC 218; ISO/TC 45/SC 1)" ("Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies (Mirror committee to CEN/TC 218; ISO/TC 45/SC 1)") at the DIN Standards Committee Rubber Technology (FAKAU).
