Overview

This International Standard defines technical terms for self-levelling and gun-grade (gunnable) sealants for above-ground exposed structures. It is not applicable to sealants used in roads and airfields, sealants for water-retaining structures, or structural glazing sealants. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-02-16 AA "Fugendichtstoffe (SpA zu ISO/TC 59/SC 8 und CEN/TC 349)" ("Sealants for joints in building construction (Mirror Committee of ISO/TC 59/SC 8)") at DIN.
