DIN EN ISO 6802:2010-03

The test standard on hydraulic hoses describes a pressure impulse test with flexing for wire-reinforced rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies. The test is applicable to high-pressure hydraulic hoses and hose assemblies, which are subject to pulsating pressure in service. This International Standard describes two methods of flexing the hose or hose assembly. The actual pressure impulse test is described in ISO 6803. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 45 "Rubber and rubber products", SC 1 "Hoses" (secretariat: DSM, Malaysia) of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 6802:2008 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 218 "Rubber and plastic hoses and hose assemblies", the secretariat of which is held by BSI. The responsible national Standards Committee is NA 045-02-12 AA "Schläuche" ("Hoses") of Rubber Technology Standards Committee (FAKAU).
