DIN EN ISO 3661:2011-12

This version of the standard supersedes EN 23661 "End-suction centrifugal pumps - Baseplate and installation dimensions (ISO 3661:1997) - German version of EN 23661:1993" which is deleted herewith. The content is identical to EN 23661. Only the numbering of the standard has been changed to be in line with the ISO numbering. This standard specifies the basic dimensions and gives alternative numbers and locations of baseplate fixing holes to suit individual installations. The standard covers baseplates No. 2 to 9. The data given are intended primarily for use with pumps in accordance with ISO 2858 and coupled with electric motors mounted with their feet on a foundation. This standard contains the German version of EN ISO 3661:2010 which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 115 "Pumps", in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 197 "Pumps" in the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). The national interests during the preparation were represented by Working Committee NA 060-11-01 AA "Kreiselpumpen" ("Centrifugal pumps") of Technical Section "Pumpen" ("Pumps") at the Mechanical Engineering Standards Committee (NAM) at DIN. Representatives of manufacturers and users of pumps, and of the employers' liability insurance associations are involved in the preparation.
