DIN EN ISO 3037:2013-12

The responsible German body involved in the preparation of this document was Working Committee NA 074-02-03 AA "Physikalisch-technische Prüfverfahren für Papier und Pappe" ("Physical-technological test methods for paper and board"). This document (DIN EN ISO 3037:2013) is the result of the adoption of the international document ISO 3037:2013, which has been prepared by International Committee ISO/TC 6/SC 2 "Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 "Pulp, paper and board", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The following shall be noted. During a routine review ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulp" determined that some minor and purely editorial changes were necessary. Furthermore validation of the test method and its results by means of provable precision data was also required. For the sake of simplicity, the results of interlaboratory tests carried out and evaluated in 2011 by CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries) have been used as precision data (see Annex B). Since precision data do not contain any normative specifications and the remaining modifications are exclusively of editorial nature, ISO/TC decided to initiate a so-called "Minor Revision".
