Overview

This standard includes the German version of EN ISO 2440:1999 and Amendment 1:2010. DIN EN ISO 2440 specifies laboratory procedures for flexible and rigid cellular polymeric materials, which are intended to imitate the effects of naturally occurring reactions such as oxidation or hydrolysis humidity. The physical properties of interest are measured before and after the application of the specified treatments. The amendment contains an extention of the permissible temperature tolerances. At DIN the Committee responsible for this standard is NA 062-04-37 AA "Prüfung weich-elastischer Schaumstoffe" ("Testing of flexible cellular polymeric materials").
