This standard takes into consideration Amendment EN ISO 23953-1:2005/A1:2012. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 44 "Commercial refrigerated cabinets, catering refrigerating appliances and industrial refrigeration", the secretariat of which is held by UNI (Italy), in collaboration with ISO/TC 86 "Refrigeration and air-conditioning". Regarding the German collaboration the responsible committee is Working Committee NA 044-00-07 AA "Gewerbe- und Verkaufskühlmöbel" ("Refrigerated commercial and display cabinets") at the Refrigeration Technology Standards Committee (FNKä).
