Overview

This standard DIN EN ISO 22282-3 deals with the requirements for water pressure tests (WPT) in boreholes made as part of geotechnical investigation and testing in accordance with DIN EN 1997-1 and DIN EN 1997-2 in rock. The investigation is carried out to test the following: - hydraulic properties of the rock mass, which are mainly governed by discontinuities - the absorption capacity of the rock mass - the tightness of the rock mass - the effectiveness of grouting - the geomechanical behaviour, for example, hydrofracturing and hydrojacking.
