Overview

Amendment 1 specifies the colour codes for rotary polishers in accordance with DIN EN ISO 7711-3. The grit size classification is expanded from five to six sizes. This Amendment A1 to the European Standard has been taken over by Technical Committee CEN/TC 55 "Dentistry" (secretariat: DIN, Germany) from the work of ISO/TC 106 "Dentistry". The responsible Working Committee is NA 014-00-04 AA "Rotierende Instrumente" ("Rotary instruments") of the Dentistry Standards Committee (NADENT) at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V.
