Germany was involved in the preparation through Working Committee NA 109-00-01 AA "Materialien, Ausrüstungen und Offshore-Bauwerke für die Erdöl-, petrochemische und Erdgasindustrie" ("Materials, equipment and offshore structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries") of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries Standards Committee (NÖG) of DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V.
