This part of ISO 19712 specifies the methods of test for determination of the properties of solid surfacing materials, as defined in clause 3, in the form of shaped products. These methods are primarily intended for testing the materials specified in ISO 19712-1. The tests may be carried out on finished products, but are generally carried out on test panels of a size sufficient to meet the requirements of the test, and of the same material and finish as the finished product. Compared with DIN EN ISO 19712-3:2013-04, the following corrections have been made to the German version only and therefore do not affect the English text: a) in 7.1.2.2, the value "6 000" has been corrected to read "6 500" ; b) in 8.2.1 the missing paragraph has been added: Dieses Verfahren kann auch mit anderen fleckenbildenden Substanzen angewendet werden, um spezifische Anforderungen, welche zwischen Lieferant und Auftraggeber abgestimmt sind, abzudecken. (This method may also be used with staining agents other than those specified, to cover specific requirements agreed between supplier and purchaser.); c) in 12.2.4, third sentence, "(0,1 ± 0,01)" has been corrected to read "(0,063 ± 0,013)". The committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-04-01 AA "Dekorative Schichtstoffe und Mineralwerkstoffe" ("Decorative laminates and solid surfacing materials", mirror committee to ISO/TC 61/SC 11/WG 2 and CEN/TC 249/WG 4) at DIN.
