DIN EN ISO 1927-3:2013-03

This document specifies the methods for the characterization of unshaped refractory materials as received and for checking the homogeneity of a delivery of a product. It is applicable to castables (dense and insulating), gunning materials tap hole clay and ramming materials, as defined in ISO 1927-1. ISO 1927-3 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 33 "Refractories" of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been adopted as EN ISO 1927-3 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 187 "Refractory products and materials", the secretariat of which is held by BSI (United Kingdom). The responsible German committee is Working Committee NA 062-02-57 AA "Ungeformte, dichte geformte und wärmedämmende feuerfeste Erzeugnisse und Werkstoffe" ("Unshaped, dense shaped and insulating refractory products and materials") at the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN.
