DIN EN ISO 19232-3:2013-12

This part of ISO 19232 specifies the minimum image quality values to ensure a uniform radiographic quality. It applies to the two types of image quality indicator as detailed in ISO 19232-1 for wire-type IQI and ISO 19232-2 for step/hole-type IQI and for the two techniques described in ISO 5579. Values are specified for the two classes of radiographic techniques and for ferrous materials described in ISO 5579. This document (EN ISO 19232-3:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 138 "Non-destructive testing", the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR (France) in collaboration with Technical Committee ISO/TC 135 "Non-destructive testing". The responsible German body involved is Working Committee NA 062-08-22 AA "Durchstrahlungsprüfung und Strahlenschutz" ("Radiation methods and radiation protection") of the Materials Testing Standards Committee (NMP) at DIN.
