DIN EN ISO 12625-12:2010-05

This standard specifies a test method for the determination of tensile strength of perforated lines of tissue paper. It uses a tensile-testing apparatus operating with a constant rate of elongation. The calculation of perforation efficiency is also specified in this standard. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 172 "Pulp, paper and board", the secretariat of which is held by DIN, in collaboration with ISO/TC 6 "Paper, board and pulps". WG 8 "Test methods for tissue paper and tissue products" which is held under Germany chairmanship is the decision-making Committee within CEN/TC 172. NMP has substantially contributed to the preparation of the European Standard. At DIN the responsible national Mirror Committee is NA 074-02-05 AA "Prüfverfahren für Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkte" ("Test methods for tissue paper and tissue products").
