DIN EN ISO 12625-11:2013-04

This document (EN ISO 12625-11:2012) has been prepared by CEN/TC 172 "Pulp, paper and board". The secretariat is held by the Paper, Board and Pulp Standards Committee (NPa) at DIN. WG 8 "Test methods for tissue paper and tissue products", which is held under German chairmanship, is the decision-making committee within CEN/TC 172. Representatives of the Paper, Board and Pulp Standards Committee have contributed to the preparation of this European Standard. The responsible national Mirror Committee is NA 074-02-05 AA "Prüfverfahren für Tissue-Papier und Tissue-Produkte" ("Test methods for tissue paper and tissue products"). The determination of wet ball burst strength is the counterpart to the determination of ball burst strength as specified in DIN EN ISO 12625-9. Contrary to Part 9, the inner clamping diameter of the two concentric rings has been specified in this standard to be 50 mm. A general adjustment of the various internal diameters to 50 mm is in the course of preparation. It should be noted that this European Standard - and all other standards of the DIN EN ISO 12625 series under CEN leadership - have been submitted at the same time to ISO/TC 6/SC 2 "Test methods and quality specifications for paper and board" for parallel voting under the Vienna Agreement.
