DIN EN ISO 12474:2011-01

This European International Standard specifies the characteristics of hexagon socket head cap screws with metric fine pitch thread with nominal thread diameters from 8 mm up to 36 mm and product grade A. It has been prepared on the basis of ISO 21269:2004, which has been withdrawn. Compared to ISO 21269:2004, the scope has been limited and brought into line with ISO 898-1. Nominal thread diameters for screws with reduced loadability have been completely omitted. The European/International Standard EN ISO 12474 has been prepared by ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners" (secretariat: DIN), in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", the secretariats of which are held by DIN. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-02 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Außengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric external threads") of FMV.
