This standard specifies the shape and basic dimensions of the hexalobular internal driving feature for bolts and screws, including the gauging method. With respect to the previous edition, several sizes of the driving feature including corresponding values have been added in Tables 1 to 5. This document (EN ISO 10664:2014) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 2 "Fasteners", Subcommittee SC 11 "Fasteners with metric external thread", in collaboration with CEN/TC 185 "Fasteners", the secretariats of which are held by DIN. The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee NA 067-00-02 AA "Verbindungselemente mit metrischem Außengewinde" ("Fasteners with metric external threads") of the Standards Committee Fasteners (FMV) at DIN.
