This standard contains the terminology for the ISO/TC 58 standards, which are to be used under transport regulations such as the UN Orange Book. Deviations from this terminology are permitted in order to comply with other regulations, such as for stationary or automotive applications. This standard replaces DIN EN ISO 10286:2007. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 016-00-03 AA "Druckgasflaschen und Ausrüstung, Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 23 und ISO/TC 58" ("Transportable gas cylinders and equipment; National mirror committee of CEN/TC 23 and ISO/TC 58") at DIN.
