Overview

This part of IEC 62841 applies to hand-held circular saws, which hereinafter will be referred to as saws. This standard does not apply to saws designed for use with abrasive wheels. The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN EN 60745-2-5 (VDE 0740-2-5):2011-10: a) adaption to IEC 62841-1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60745-2-5:2011-10; VDE 0740-2-5:2011-10 .

This document has been corrected by: DIN EN 62841-2-5 Berichtigung 1:2017-07; VDE 0740-2-5 Berichtigung 1:2017-07 .
