Overview

This International Standard specifies marking, designation, dimensions, tests and requirements for sealed nickel-metal hydride prismatic secondary single cells. During the tests, in addition to the discharge performance and endurance in cycles, overloading and the function of the safety devices are also considered. It also includes conditions for approval and acceptance tests. The responsible committee is DKE/K 371 "Akkumulatoren" ("Secondary cells and batteries") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
