DIN EN 62561-7:2012-08

This part of the IEC 62561 standard series deals with the requirements and tests for earthing enhancing compounds as being a lightning protection system components (LPSC) designed and implemented according to the EN 62305. Earthing enhancing compounds help to ensure low resistance of an earth termination system. The EN 62561 series consists of the following parts under the general title "Lightning Protection System Components (LPSC)": EN 62561-1 Part 1: Requirements for connection components EN 62561-2 Part 2: Requirements for conductors and earth electrodes EN 62561-3 Part 3: Requirements for isolating spark gaps EN 62561-4 Part 4: Requirements for conductor fasteners EN 62561-5 Part 5: Requirements for earth electrode inspection housings and earth electrode seals EN 62561-6 Part 6: Requirements for lightning strike counters EN 62561-7 Part 7: Requirements for earthing enhancing compounds The responsible committee is K 251 "Blitzschutzanlagen und Blitzschutzbauteile" ("Lightning protection systems and lightning protection components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
