Overview

This European Standard incorporates the text of CENELEC Amendment A12:2015-01 to EN 62115:2005. The incorporated EN 62115:2005/A12:2015 amends Clauses 1 "Scope", 7 "Labels and instructions", 9 "Heating and improper operation", 14 "Construction" and 20 "Radiation, toxicity and similar hazards" and Annexes ZZA and ZZB of EN 62115. In addition, Annex ZC "Toys generating electromagnetic fields" has been added. EN 62115 addresses the safety of electrical toys that have at least one function that depends on electricity. It also applies to electrical construction kits, to electrical functional toys, to video toys and to electrical experimental kits.
