This part of IEC 61881 applies to capacitors for power electronics intended to be used on rolling stock. The rated voltage of capacitors covered by this part is limited to 10 000 V. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 351.1 "Fahrzeuge" ("Rolling stock") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 61881:2000-08; VDE 0115-430:2000-08 .
