This International Standard is part of a series produced to facilitate the use of communication networks in industrial control systems. This standard specifies the installation profiles for communication profile family 17 (RAPIEnet). It shall be read in conjunction with IEC 61918:2013. The responsible committee is DKE/K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
