This International Standard is one of a series produced to facilitate the use of communication networks in industrial control systems. This standard provides the installation profiles of the communication profile family 1 (Foundation Fieldbus, that is FF H1, FF HSE, and FF H2) and states which requirements of DIN EN 61918 fully apply and where, if necessary, other requirements are to be supplemented, modified, or replaced. The installation profiles are specified in the annexes and shall be read in conjunction with IEC 61918:2013. The responsible committee is DKE/K 956 "Feldbus" ("Fieldbus") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
