DIN EN 61347-1 Corrigendum 1 (VDE 0712-30 Corrigendum 1) concerns Part 1 of the DIN EN 61347 series of standards, which deals with general and safety requirements for devices for lamps for use on direct current supplies up to 250 V and/or alternating current supplies up to 1 000 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz. The purpose of this part of EN 61347 is to provide a set of general and safety requirements and tests which can be considered generally applicable to the majority of lamp equipment types and which can be called up as required in the various parts of which EN 61347-2 is composed. Part 1 is therefore not to be regarded as a specification in itself for any device for lamps. The specifications in Part 1 are only applicable to specific types of lamp equipment to the extent specified in the relevant Part 2 of DIN EN 61347. The Corrigendum to DIN EN 61347-1 concerns Subclause 15.4.2 SELV circuit, in which the specifications from the IEC have not been correctly transferred. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 521.3 "Geräte für Lampen" ("Auxiliaries for lamps") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
