DIN EN 61332:2017-07

This standard provides ferrite suppliers and users with rules for the classification of ferrite materials for inductive components. This provides customers with a guide for selecting the most suitable material for each application. The numerical values given describe the usual parameters (properties) of the respective material. Each individual material and core specification should be agreed between the user and the manufacturer. The main change compared to the previous edition of this standard concerns Table 3 "Ferrites of material class PW". The responsible committee is DKE/K 625 "Magnetische Bauelemente und deren Komponenten" ("Magnetic devices and their components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
