DIN EN 61326-2-5:2013-08

In addition to the requirements of DIN EN 61326-1 (VDE 0843-20-1):2013, this part of the DIN EN 61326 (VDE 0843-20) standard series deals with the particular features for EMC testing of field devices with field bus interfaces. This part of the DIN EN 61326 standard series covers only the field bus interface of the equipment. Part 2-5 of the DIN EN 61326 (VDE 0843-20) standard series refers only to field devices intended for use in process control and process measuring. In the standard field devices with interfaces according to DIN EN 61784-1:2011, CP 3/2 and CP 1/1 as defined in DIN EN 61784 are covered. Other field busses can be included in future editions of this standard. DIN EN 61784-1:2011-04 specifies a set of protocol specific communication profiles based on the DIN EN 61158 standard series. The manufacturer specifies the environment for which the product is intended to be used and/or selects the appropriate test level specifications of DIN EN 61326-1 (VDE 0843-20-1):2013. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 921.3 "Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit in der Leittechnik" ("Electromagnetic compatibility in process control technology") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
