Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for coaxial RF connectors of type QMA with quick locking. The connectors are based on the SMA connector, but are not compatible with it. They are typically used in the medium power range up to an operating frequency of 6 GHz. The responsible committee is Subcommittee UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
