Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for series SQMA series quick lock RF coaxial connectors. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω and may be used with an operating frequency of up to 18 GHz. They are normally used in microwave, telecommunication, and wireless basis stations, connecting with coaxial cables or micro-strips. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF connectors and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
