Overview

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and tests for SSMA series RF coaxial connectors. These connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms and are connected to coaxial cables or micro strips. The operating frequency limit is at least up to 35 GHz. The coupling thread is 10-36 UNS. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 412.4 "Passive HF- und Mikrowellenbauelemente" ("RF and microwave passive components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
