DIN EN 61000-4-3:2011-04

This standard contains the German version of EN 61000-4-3:2006 + A1:2007 + A2:2010 and is identical to the International Standard IEC 61000-4-3:2000 and its Amendments 1:2008 and 2:2010. It describes the immunity test of electrical and electronic equipment (devices) with respect to radio-frequency electromagnetic fields. Hereto, requirements are specified for the frequency range 80 MHz to 6 GHz. In addition to the test severity levels (test levels), specifications with regard to the test apparatus, calibration of the radio-frequency electromagnetic field (constant field strength method and constant performance method), test set-up, test procedure, evaluation of test results and test report are given. In relation to the previous edition, a new normative Annex J on the measurement uncertainty during the setting of the test field strength caused by the test apparatus has been supplemented. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 767.3 "Hochfrequente Störgrößen" ("High frequency disturbances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
