This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 61000-4-15:2011 and is identical to the second edition of the International Standard IEC 61000-4-15 (2010 edition). It is intended for functional specification of flickermeters and contains specifications for their design. In addition to the requirements, the corresponding type tests are given. Annex A further describes a technique to improve accuracy of flicker evaluation. With respect to the previous edition, three flickermeter classes F1, F2 and F3 have been introduced, existing definitions have been clarified and other definitions have been supplemented. Furthermore specifications for 120 V/50 Hz and 120 V/60 Hz networks have been supplemented. Methods for direct measurement of the d parameters have also been added. Moreover, previous descriptions for insulation, climatic and EMC tests of flickermeters have been replaced by references to corresponding standards. Finally, clauses B.2 and Annex C have been added. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 767.1 "Niederfrequente leitungsgeführte Stromgrößen" ("Low-frequency conducted disturbances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 61000-4-15:2003-10; VDE 0847-4-15:2003-10 .
