Overview
This Corrigendum replaces in the corresponding locations the term "dimmer" by "device for brightness control" in DIN EN 61000-3-2 (VDE 0838-2):2010-03, 7.3 b) and C.5.3. The standard contains specifications for limiting harmonic current emissions caused in electrical and electronic equipment having an input current of < 16 A per phase and intended to be connected to public low-voltage distribution systems. The responsible Committee is Subcommittees UK 767.1 "Niederfrequente leitungsgeführte Stromgrößen" ("Low-frequency conducted disturbances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
Please get in touch with the relevant contact person at DIN if you have problems understanding the content of the standard or need advice on how to apply it.
