Overview

This standard applies to drills and impact drills. With respect to DIN EN 60745-2-1 (VDE 0740-2-1):2010-02, the following changes have been made: a) The standard has been adapted to the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. b) The Annexes ZZA and ZZB have been added by CENELEC. The responsible Committee is K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.

Replacement amendments

This document replaces DIN EN 60745-2-1:2010-02; VDE 0740-2-1:2010-02 .

This document has been replaced by: DIN EN 62841-2-1:2020-07; VDE 0740-2-1:2020-07 , DIN EN 60745-2-1:2011-01; VDE 0740-2-1:2011-01 , DIN EN 62841-2-1:2018-08; VDE 0740-2-1:2018-08 .
