Overview

This standard describes measurement methods for determining the properties for specifying polycrystalline microwave ferrites and for general applications in ferrite technology. These measurement methods are used to investigate materials for use at microwave frequencies, commonly referred to as ferrites. This Amendment adds a clause describing a method for measuring the line width of gyromagnetic resonance and an annex containing an example of the line width calculation method using a spreadsheet software program. The responsible committee is DKE/K 625 "Magnetische Bauelemente und deren Komponenten" ("Magnetic devices and their components") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
