Overview

This Corrigendum contains a correction to the limit dimensions without tolerance specification in Figure 1 of DIN EN 60529 (VDE 0470-1):2014-09. With the 2014-09 edition of DIN EN 60529 (VDE 0470-1), the degree of protection IPX9 has been added (testing the resistance of enclosures to high-pressure cleaners). No changes have been made to the previous degrees of protection in terms of testing and requirements. Therefore, no additional testing or changes to the certification are required for the existing IP classifications. The responsible committee is K 212 "Schutzarten" ("Degrees of protection") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
