The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for gauges which are important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendments A46 and A47, the revised data sheets 7006-39A-3, 7006-163A-1, 7006-163B-1, 7006-163C-1 and 7006-163D-1 have been replaced, the data sheets 7006-70H-1, 7006-171-1 and 7006-171A-1 have been added and the existing data sheets 7006-70A-1, 7006-70F-1, 7006-98-1 and 7006-98A-1 have been removed. The subcommittee responsible for this standard is DKE/UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
