DIN EN 60061-1:2017-10

The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for lamp caps and lamp holders, which are important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Part 1 of this series of standards specifies requirements for lamp bases that match the requirements for complementary lamp holders in Part 2 of this series of standards. Part 3 of this series of standards describes the gauges required for testing the required dimensions of the bases according to Part 1 and the dimensions of the lampholders according to Part 2. Part 4 of the series of standards provides general information on the designation system of the base/holder systems, as well as specifications and information to be referred to for the requirements for these base/holder systems. The subcommittee responsible for this standard is DKE/UK 521.2 "Lichtquellensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
