This standard contains the German version of European Standard EN 55016-1-2:2014 and is identical to International Standard CISPR 16-1-2:2014.It includes coupling devices and other accessory equipment required for the measurement of radio disturbances (disturbance voltages and currents) of equipment and devices particularly within a frequency range between 9 kHz and 30 MHz. These coupling devices and accessory equipment include artificial networks (artificial V-networks and delta-networks) used for measuring mains terminals, current transformers and voltage probes, coupling devices for measurements on signal lines (asymmetric artificial networks, artificial networks for use with coaxial and other screened cables) as well as coupling/decoupling networks for emission measurements (so-called CDNE). This standard also specifies artificial hands used during measurements for holding equipment which is usually hand-held during normal operation. This standard gives the required definitions and specifies the essential parameters. This includes impedance (value and phase) of the artificial network, minimum decoupling, current-carrying capacity and voltage drop. For current transformers, insertion and transmission resistances, internal resistance, frequency response, impulse behaviour and others are specified. For asymmetric or Y artificial networks, insertion and asymmetric losses, decoupling loss, terminating impedance and others are indicated. Corresponding values for artificial networks to be used for coaxial and other screened cables are also specified. Schematic diagrams for the individual measuring equipment are also given. Further information and examples regarding artificial networks for the assembly of coupling units and voltage probes are given in the annexes of this standard. With respect to the previous edition, specifications for coupling/decoupling networks used for emission measurements (so-called CDNE) have been added. For this purpose, a new Clause 9 has been added to the standard. By using the appropriate measurement method, disturbance voltages within a frequency range of 30 MHz to 300 MHz can be determined. The method already specified in the EMC product standard CISPR 15 or EN 55015 or DIN EN 55015 (VDE 0875-15-1), respectively, may be used as an alternative to stray radiation measurement. The coupling/decoupling network for emission measurements has been derived from the coupling/decoupling network specified in IEC 61000-4-6 for immunity testing and developed further in order to improve the reproducibility of measurements. The standard gives characteristics of the CDNE in relation to asymmetric and symmetric impedance as well as longitudinal conversion loss and decoupling loss. Examples of CDNE schematic diagrams are to be found in the new Annex J. The EMC product committees are recommended to observe the corresponding specifications of standard series CISPR 16 or EN 55016 for measuring equipment, measurement methods as well as measurement uncertainty for their specifications for measurement of high-frequency disturbances (radio disturbances). The responsible committee is DKE/UK 767.4 "Geräte und Verfahren zum Messen von elektromagnetischen Aussendungen" ("Apparatus and methods for measurement of electromagnetic transmissions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
