DIN EN 55016-1-1:2015-05

This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55016-1-1:2010 + A1:2010 + A2:2014 and is identical with the International Standard CISPR 16-1-1:2010 and its Amendment A1:2010 and Amendment A2:2014. It specifies requirements for radio disturbance conducted and radiated measuring apparatus (interference voltages and currents as well as interference strengths) in the frequency range 9 kHz to 18 kHz. For this purpose measuring receivers with quasi-peak, peak and average detectors, spectrum analysers, scanning receivers, signal-to-noise meters, click analysers as well as measuring receivers operating on the basis of fast Fourier transformation in the time domain (FFT based measuring receiver) are specified. The fundamental characteristics of the measuring instruments specified in accordance with this standard include input impedance, sine wave voltage accuracy, selectivity, response to impulsive signals, limitation of intermodulation effects, receiver noise. With respect to the previous edition of the standard Annex J with information concerning the use of external preamplifiers has been added. The use of this information is intended to prevent overload of the measurement system and thereby a distortion of the measured signals. The responsible committee is Subcommittee DKE/UK 767.4 "Geräte und Verfahren zum Messen von elektromagnetischen Aussendungen" ("Equipment and methods for measurement of electromagnetic transmissions") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
